Want to know the secret to making raw kale enjoyable?! 🌿 Massage it!! Yes, you read that correctly. I made dinner with my brothers and sister-in-law tonight and when I told them this was the secret to good kale they were really surprised! Then, after tasting how much better kale is when massaged, they said I should definitely share this tip with you all!⠀ ⠀⠀ So here it is:⠀ 1️⃣ Thoroughly rinse raw kale⠀ 2️⃣ Dry it (I use a salad spinner)⠀ 3️⃣ Tear it off the large stem (optional)⠀ 4️⃣ Chop into small sections⠀ 5️⃣ Throw it in a large bowl and add a healthy oil of your choice (like avocado or olive - I actually used @chosenfoods olive oil spray for this because olive oil is best used without heat due to its low smoke point) and quite a bit of fresh lemon juice 🍋 I usually use half a lemon. The oil and lemon juice "cook" down the oil, giving it the texture of sautéed kale, but it's still raw 🙌🏼⠀ 6️⃣ Massage for at least a few minutes or until your hands are sore 😂⠀ 7️⃣ Then add toppings and enjoy!Seriously, this is a game changer 💥 http://ift.tt/2tCgDcE

Oreo Pancakes 🥞🍫 Because Sunday's deserve pancakes 😍 Recipe below I hope you've all had a fabulous weekend. We've had lots of fun with Rory 🐶 and building him a new house for when he needs to be outside. Plus three lots of soccer with Logan ⚽️ Thank you to everyone that has entered our #buddhabowlparty with myself and @fitness_bianca 💖 we're excited to see all the entries coming in already, and can't wait to start sharing this week. 🥞🍫 Oreo Pancakes with Choc Sauce 1/2 cup flour of choice 1/2 banana sliced 1/2 cup almond milk (more to consistency) 1-2 Tbsp cacao powder 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1-2 Tbsp granulated stevia or sweetener of choice (more to taste) Pinch of salt Blend all ingredients except cacao powder in a blender until smooth Divide. Mix cacao powder into one half Cook on medium low in a little coconut oil or a non stick pan Choc Sauce 1 Tbsp Cacao 1 tsp coconut oil Rice malt syrup or maple to your taste Boiling water to consistency Mix well

Peanut & Coconut Cheesecakes 💕 full recipe below. Thank you to everyone that asked for this recipe after seeing my feature on the cover of @wellbeing_magazine Eat Well that I showed on Stories during the week. I'll put the cover pic in Stories again for those that wanted to see it. Thanks again to @mayversfood for making it happen. I was happy to see the gorgeous @tohercore inside the mag with me as well 💕 plus a few of my other recipes and photos for other companies that I didn't even know would be in there ☺️ Very grateful ❤️ Peanut & Coconut Cheesecakes (Makes 12 mini or 6 muffin size cheesecakes) Base 1/4 cup crushed peanuts 1 & 1/2 Tbsp coconut flour 1/2 Tbsp Peanut Cacao spread (or peanut butter) @mayversfood 1/2 Tbsp coconut oil 1/2 Tbsp granulated stevia (or sweetener of choice) Blitz the nuts with the coconut flour until crumbed. Add the other ingredients and process again Press into the base of silicon molds with fingers and put in the freezer while you make the filling Filling 1 cup raw cashews (soaked overnight, rinsed and drained) 1 cup desiccated coconut 1/4 cup Peanut Butter Smooth 1/3 cup granulated stevia (or rice malt, coconut sugar, maple) 1/4 cup coconut water 1 tsp coconut essence 1 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt Blend all ingredients until smooth Spoon on top of bases and freeze overnight Optional Choc coconut cream topping 1 tin coconut cream (chilled and scoop out thick cream part only) 1/4 cup granulated stevia icing mix (or icing sugar) 1-2 Tbsp cacao powder Blend with electric mixer until fluffy Pipe onto cheesecakes Enjoy!

16 miles. On a Thursday. With 80% humidity. Put a fork in me because I am DONE! 🍴⠀ ⠀ That was HELLA hard, y'all. Mentally and physically. I had a brief interruption at mile 14. My water was gone (two bottles worth) and my tummy hurt. When I went back out for my last two miles, I honestly thought I was toast. The last quarter mile was the hardest -- shaking, dehydrated, the whole nine. Chocolate milk, ice water, PayDay, and yogurt covered raisins never tasted so good. 🥛⠀ ⠀ Moral of the story? It's hot. It's humid. And I wanted to die. But I made it! Long run = DONE! 🔥⠀ ⠀ Thank you to @eugeniabsweet and @moran_krus for keeping me company on the first 6, and @cgoykhberg for all the encouragement! Charcoal Yoghurt Pot 💜🖤 I can't get enough of yoghurt as snacks. And the premiere of the new season of Game Of Thrones has me ready for some moody tones 🖤 Did anyone else tune in to watch?? This yoghurt pot is made of soy yoghurt mixed with @just_blends butterfly pea flower powder for the top layer and activated coconut charcoal powder for the bottom layer. I also added some stevia drops for sweetness and a squeeze of lemon for flavour. The lemon turns the butterfly pea from blue to purple. Activated charcoal is known to absorb and remove toxins from the body, plus you may have also seen people brush their teeth with it to whiten.
