July's Artifact(s) of the Month are well loved books and games from the museum's collections. Among them is Parcheesi, which existed as early as 540 B.C. in India under the name Chauper. It appeared in the states in the late 1900s where it was coined with the name we know it by today. For us, many of these games incite nostalgic memories of gathering around the table with family and friends. What games from your childhood do you remember?
